我问了,我同学在约克不是很清楚,但据她家亲戚(在英国西南部生活很多年了)说,那所学校整体讲一般,而且南方消费要高一些.至于你的专业,不好意思,都不了解....所以没法详细说,只能从学校整体讲.你可以去问问中介,如果他们说虽然学校一般,但你这专业还不错的话,也是值得考虑的.另外说一下,这东西,别人说什么都用处不大,因为我当时也问了很多人,你要是问中国人,大家都是从排名上帮你分析,你要是问英国人,他们都会说,哦,都差不多....

学校我觉得应该是个一般学校，不过世界排名好像还100多点呢，可惜知名度就是不高呀，国内知道得真是不多，咱东大信息的薛定宇教授是那个学校毕业的，现在是博导了。现在就是犹豫，去还是不去。

PH.D 的话， 综合排名是浮云， 建议看重专业排名
毕竟以后找工作遇到的都会是这个圈子里的老蟹，对彼此的底细都清楚
