西北工业大学西安校友会成立，王方胜董事长当选校友会首任会长

10月19日，西北工业大学第七届校友周系列活动正式开幕，国内外1400余名校友齐聚阔别多年的母校，重温学生岁月。
当天，西北工业大学西安校友会成立大会在西北工业大学长安校区南山苑国际学术交流中心举行。西北工业大学校领导、校友总会领导、西安校友会校友代表、兄弟校友分会代表等300余人参加了大会。大会选举了首届西安校友会理事会成员，王方胜董事长当选为西安校友会首任会长。
王方胜董事长在会上讲到：感谢母校的信任和重托，感谢大家的理解和支持，将西安校友会会长这个担子放在我的肩上，我感到非常光荣，也明白责任重大。
作为首任会长，愿把西安校友会打造成学校与校友的命运共同体，肩负起两大不可推卸的使命，第一是把西北工业大学西安校友会打造成一个具有全国影响力的校友会品牌；第二是把西安校友会打造成校友心目中最重要的平台。在提出了愿景和使命的同时，王方胜董事长从“ 树立服务理念，把校友会建成校友之家；发挥地域优势，协助母校做好东道主；促进校企合作，助推母校产学研融合发展；开展走进校友企业活动，搭建合作交流平台”四个方面分享了个人对西安校友会工作的想法。
与此同时，在校友会成立大会上，王方胜董事长代表大方集团为西北工业大学教育基金会捐赠了100万元，此款项将用于支持西北工业大学教育事业发展，以及学校击剑队的建设，旨在进一步推广击剑运动，为学校培养出更多的击剑人才，为国家输出更多的优秀运动员。在9月28日大方集团城市立方文化体育综合体2周年店庆上，城市立方万国击剑授牌成为西北工业大学校击剑队“指定训练基地”，一系列捐助与合作，正是大方集团致力于文化体育事业发展，财富回报社会的责任体现。
当日下午，在西北工业大学以“回家”为主题的第七届校友周联欢会上，西北工业大学校友总会为西安校友会正式授牌，校友总会副会长王伟为西安校友会组织机构成员颁发了聘书，清华大学西安校友会荣誉会长王俊仁代表兄弟院校校友会致辞并为西北工业大学西安校友会赠送字画。
